Most recently, Patrick served as SVP, Chief Restaurant Officer for McDonald's UK & Ireland. From his early days as a crew member in Switzerland to leadership roles across McDonald's Canada as Senior Director of National Operations and later Field Vice President, East, he has led at nearly every level over a career spanning more than 25 years. His experience in the System makes him uniquely suited to lead our Operations function at a critical time: he knows first-hand how restaurants run and what it takes to get it right for restaurant teams and customers alike.

Just as important as his experience is how Patrick shows up as a leader. He pairs sound operational judgment with a genuine passion for people, operations, and restaurant performance. He is deeply committed to developing future leaders — a hallmark of every role he has held — creating opportunities for people to grow, stretch, and make a lasting impact. 

Patrick’s arrival comes as we recommit to the fundamentals that earn customer visits: putting taste and quality unmistakably back at the center of our brand, elevating hospitality, and delivering Gold Standard QSC&V on every shift. These fundamentals are our fastest path to stronger guest counts, deeper customer trust and sustainable growth. In his role as Chief Restaurant Officer, Patrick will be central to translating strategy into execution across our restaurants, sharpening our standards and strengthening the connection between the priorities we set and the way our teams execute every day.
