McDonald’s has long striven to feed and serve its communities. In these trying times, that hasn’t changed.

In March, some McDonald’s restaurants in Poland began making PowerPacks – free three-course meals for health care workers and people on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.

Each PowerPack contains water, a small salad, an oat cookie, and either a McRoyal or nine McNuggets. They’re delivered every day, wherever they’re needed, via safe, contactless delivery. Many meals also come with an encouraging or inspirational message handwritten by our crew employees.

Currently, 40 franchised and 31 company-owned restaurants have delivered almost 26,000 PowerPacks throughout Poland. They’ve been delivered to nearly 50 hospitals, five police stations, four sanitary-epidemiological stations, two army stations, five orphanages and one fire brigade station.

“I feel fortunate we're in a position to be able to provide warm meals for the heroes fighting to keep us all safe,” says Adam Pienkowski, CEO of McDonald’s Poland. “Now, more than ever, we know we’re all in this together. Nothing is impossible for McDonald’s team.”
