After Giving Away 10,000 Bottles of Big Mac Special Sauce Nationwide, Bottle #10,001 will be Donated to Charity

This week McDonald’s USA gave away 10,000 limited edition bottles of Big Mac Special Sauce for the first time in the U.S., but not everyone was able to get their hands on one. Those who didn’t receive one of the exclusive bottles of the one-of-a-kind Big Mac Special Sauce are in luck. On January 27, McDonald’s USA will donate bottle #10,001 to Ronald McDonald House Charities for auction, with all proceeds from the auction to benefit the Charity. Anyone can view and bid on this exclusive bottle of Big Mac Special Sauce by visiting www.Bigmacsauce.gesture.com or by texting the word “BIGMACSAUCE” to 52182. Bidding will be open between 8 AM -8 PM EST on January 27.

The Big Mac sandwich and RMHC have long been a part of McDonald’s history. McDonald’s is the founding mission partner of RMHC and has supported the RMHC mission of keeping families close, when they have a sick child, for more than 40 years.

“McDonald’s customers generously give through the RMHC Donation Box program and other fundraising events supported by McDonald’s USA throughout the year,” said Sheila Musolino, RMHC President and CEO. “We’re always excited to work with McDonald’s to create fun and unique ways for customers to give back. Every penny counts towards helping keep more families with sick children close to each other and the care they need and auctioning off bottle #10,001 of the Big Mac Special Sauce will help raise awareness and donations for the families and children who need it most.”
