Together Ray Kroc and Fred Turner transformed McDonald’s from a small chain of restaurants to a global brand. One way we celebrate their legacy, and their passion for recognizing others, is through two global awards named in their honor - our Global Ray Kroc Award and our Fred L. Turner Golden Arch Award.

Our Global Ray Kroc Award celebrates the achievements of the top 1% of our Restaurant Managers worldwide, recognizing those who lead by example through their actions and behaviors, and achieve superior business results. Our 2024 award recognizes 398 winners from across 70 Markets.

The Fred L. Turner Golden Arch Award is the highest recognition for a McDonald’s franchisee. Our 2024 award celebrates 40 franchisees from 20 Markets, individuals who put their customers and people first, lead with integrity, promote inclusion in their community, and champion the McDonald’s system.
