With that in mind, I’m pleased to share that Bryan Brown will join McDonald’s USA as Chief Development Officer, effective July 14.

Bryan brings more than three decades of experience across restaurant development, real estate, construction, and design. Most recently, he spent more than a decade with Raising Cane's, where he played a key role in helping the brand grow from a regional concept into a national restaurant system, all while maintaining a strong focus on restaurant operations and long-term performance. Prior to Raising Cane's, he held leadership roles across the restaurant, retail, and financial services industries.

Throughout his career, Bryan has worked closely with operations leaders to ensure business decisions support the needs of restaurants. As we advance McDonald’s NEXT, that perspective is what this moment calls for– combined with deep experience leading growth, modernization, and reinvestment efforts.

Bryan will play an important role ensuring that our restaurant development efforts support the evolving needs of customers, crew, and Owner/Operators. His experience balancing growth, modernization, and operational excellence will be invaluable as we continue building the future of our restaurants together.

Bryan and his wife, Tori, and two children, Stone and Piper, join us from Texas and are excited to be a part of our iconic brand moving forward.

Bryan steps into this role at a moment of real momentum, built on the strong foundation Tabassum Zalotrawala has established over the past three years.

I want to thank Tabassum for her leadership and partnership in advancing our Restaurant Development strategy and positioning the organization for what's ahead.
