As our local McDonald's says, "united we do good, and together we really are stronger."

RMHC Romania repurposed their Ronald McDonald House programs to give respite to local doctors and nurses.

All around the world, Ronald McDonald House(R) programs provide accommodation, food and comfort to families of hospitalized children. In Romania, when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived, and families were no longer staying at the House, we wanted to do something for the doctors and nurses of our partner hospitals. These heroes are fighting day and night to keep us all safe and healthy, so we wanted to help them as well.

With the support of our local McDonald's restaurants we opened our doors and kitchens to everyone on the front line, so they've got a place to rest and eat, any time they need.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and its local Chapters are committed to working collaboratively with local and national children’s health care partners to advance family-centered care and support services worldwide. Several local Chapters around the world have shifted their programs to support local healthcare workers during the pandemic.
