Signature Sriracha Big Mac Sauce adds bold flavors to Freshly-prepared Signature Crafted sandwiches at McDonald’s restaurants in San Diego, Seattle and Los Angeles
McDonald’s has added a new flavor, Signature Sriracha, to its Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich menu to provide customers with more options and unique flavors. The freshly prepared Signature Sriracha sandwich includes an exclusive Sriracha Big Mac sauce, paired with white cheddar cheese, crispy onions, baby spinach & baby kale and a tomato slice. The new sandwich fulfills customers’ desires for bold and spicy tastes from McDonald’s.
McDonald’s is taking a different approach to lettuce by adding premium greens to its signature sandwiches. Baby kale and baby spinach were chosen specifically to balance out the spicy sauce while serving as the perfect partner to accompany the other savory ingredients of white cheddar cheese, onions and tomato.
The Signature Crafted Recipes menu features bold recipes with authentic ingredients and allows customers to customize each part of their sandwich. Starting with the flavor, San Diego and Los Angeles customers can choose from Pico Guacamole, Maple Bacon Dijon, Deluxe or the new Signature Sriracha while Seattle customers can choose from Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon or new Signature Sriracha. Customers can add these tasty flavors on a 100 percent pure beef patty, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken or Artisan Grilled Chicken and top it with an artisan roll, sesame seed bun or tasty potato bun.
“The combination of Sriracha with our iconic Big Mac Sauce is the perfect blend of ingredients that speaks to our flavor fans who love Sriracha,” said Chef Michael Haracz, Manager of Culinary Innovation at McDonald's USA. “Summer is the perfect time to enjoy great food that will please your taste buds.”
“Signature Sriracha provides our customers with an exclusive blend of two wildly popular flavors, Sriracha and Big Mac Special Sauce, creating a spicy flavor in a way only McDonald’s can do,” said Bob Sutherland, president of San Diego County McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association. “The new flavor and Signature Crafted Recipes menu are just a few of the many ways we’re changing to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
The Signature Sriracha Big Mac sandwich will be available on June 20 in San Diego and Los Angeles and beginning July 7 in Seattle at participating restaurants for a limited time.
