Here for RMHC®
The World Showed Up for RMHC®
This past November, we launched a simple challenge with a powerful purpose: Post the RMHC heart on social media with #HereForRMHC and we’ll give $100 in your name to Ronald McDonald House Charities® as part of our $100 million commitment over five years. We were floored by the outpouring of support. Not only did you share your heart, you shared your goofy dances, your million-watt smiles and your messages of solidarity that meant the world to RMHC and the families it serves.
Why Your Support Matters
When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, everything changes. Families face unimaginable burdens to get that child the care they need — often having to travel far from home. These families are forced to stay apart, just when they need each other most. But with more than 260 Chapters worldwide, RMHC helps millions of families stay together near leading hospitals and health care services. So that when a child is sick, not everything has to change.
The RMHC mission of keeping families together has struck a chord with so many — including Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Here they are talking about RMHC on "Good Morning America."

As the founding mission partner to RMHC, McDonald’s has supported this important charity for over 40 years and provides ways for franchisees, crew and customers to get involved, too. With Round-Up for RMHC in places like the US and Canada, you can round up the cost of your order to the nearest dollar, with the difference going to RMHC. And on McHappy Day® in places like Canada, Australia and Russia, McDonald's donates sales from select menu items. Ask your local participating restaurants about the programs in your area.
A Symbol of Solidarity
When a family is coping with a child’s illness or injury, it can be extremely isolating. And while the RMHC heart can’t remove this burden, the simple gesture is a tiny way of showing these families they are not alone.
As we continue with our $100 million commitment through 2024, we encourage you to share the RMHC heart. Each time you do, you’ll be signaling your support of RMHC families.
